This course is designed for individuals that already know how to drive a Commercial Motor Vehicle. If you have had a Class A CDL in the past, but you allowed it to lapse, or you currently hold a Class A CDL but have no recent experience, this course maybe for you. You'll receive a 40 hours behind the wheel training test time included. The training consists of Airbrakes, Pre- trip Inspection, Basic Control Skills Maneuvering (backing),Coupling and Uncoupling of the Tractor-Trailer, and driving the vehicle using techniques that ensure safe operation of the vehicle to include Double clutching and shifting a multi-speed transmission, controlled braking as well as navigating turns and intersections with a Tractor -Trailer .
This certificate program is designed for individuals that have limited to moderate experience driving and backing a Tractor-Trailer, but require more training. During this 80 hour course, we will teach you how to properly perform Airbrake tests, Pre-Trip inspections, Basic Control Skills Maneuvers (backing), Coupling/ Uncoupling, and driving the vehicle using techniques that ensure safe operation of the vehicle to include Double clutching and shifting a multi-speed transmission, controlled braking as well as navigating turns and intersections with a Tractor-Trailer.
This certificate program is for individuals with minimal experience that still require substantial amount of training. This course also includes "Entry- Level Driver" classroom training. The classroom portion includes; Hours of Service, Driver Wellness, Whistle blower Protections, Public Relations and Job Search, Professional Driver Health, Safety and Security, Comprehensive Safety Analysis (CSA). After the classroom portion is completed, we will teach to properly perform Airbrake tests, Pre-trip inspections, Basic Control Skills Maneuvering (backing), Coupling and Uncoupling, and driving the vehicle using techniques that ensure safe operation of the vehicle to include Double clutching and shifting a multispeed transmission, controlled braking as well as navigating turns and intersections with a Tractor-Trailer.
This certificate program is designed for individuals with absolutely no experience. This course consists of everything that the 120 hour course offers, with 40 extra hours of driving and backing time and also includes "soft skills" training such as preventive maintenance, tire chaining, load securement, etc,. This course is our premier certificate program. Along with 160 hours of pro truck driver training, you will receive the following added benefits:
