160 hours CDL A Behind the Wheel Truck Driver Course

The ELDT regulations set the minimum Federal requirements for training that entry-level drivers must complete before being permitted to take certain commercial driver’s license (CDL) skills or knowledge tests on or after February 7, 2022.

What Are the ELDT Courses?

ELDT “theory” courses are required for drivers getting a CDL A or B, upgrading from a B to an A, or obtaining a hazmat endorsement.

CES is an approved FMCSA Training Provider, so by taking the course, you will be completing your “theory” requirement.

Courses are completed when you successfully complete all tests at an 80% correct level. Upon completion of a course, your results will be submitted to the Training Provider Registry (TPR).
